Easter Greetings, Finished Illustration Project and the Announcement of an  Audio-Visual Performance

"Ostara" digital painting by Andreas Hirsch
Dear visitor,

I wish you a wonderful Easter! The days are getting longer again. Nature is blooming and soon you will be able to harvest the first strawberries. I wish you that your projects will flourish and bear fruit!

“The key to ultimate happiness and fulfillment lies within our own transformation. The more we learn and grow and evolve as individuals, the more we will find happiness and satisfaction in relationships, work and life.” (Kristi Bowman)

I would like to tell you about two projects that are very close to my heart:
Andreas Hirsch with the book he illustrated
I am very happy about the first book that I illustrated. It's called "Clever Schlafen Lernen" (German) and tells the story of Tommy (13) and July (12), who learn in the sleep laboratory how important undisturbed sleep is.

"Clever Schlafen Lernen" is aimed at young people from 12 to 14 years of age. It helps them sleep better and consciously control their media consumption. Bonus pages following the story offer psychological and scientific sleep tips including a sleep diary to fill out.

The project "School health promotion on the subject of sleep and health" was initiated in 2020 by the Austrian Health Insurance Fund. For this purpose, the text of "Clever Sleeping Learning" by Assoz. Prof. Dr. Kerstin Hödlmoser (clinical psychologist and sleep researcher at the University of Salzburg) and Mag. Sigrun Eder (clinical psychologist and therapist at the child and adolescent psychiatry in Salzburg).

I contributed 17 full-page color illustrations and 17 spot illustrations for the story part and 42 black and white illustrations for the hands-on part. This beautiful book is published by Edition Riedenburg.

In the free book trade, the book is called "Genial im Schlaf" and is available here.

With Susanne Spahn, a classical singer trained at the Vienna Conservatory, I am working on an audio-visual performance titled “Nachtwandel”. It should merge classic and modern, art and technology. We hope we can premiere it in the summer.
